Since service entry of the Dash8-400 in 2000, values may have failed to inspire but they also have managed to avoid rapid deterioration. The values also square up with the new group of 70-seat regional jets. The aircraft has managed to shrug off many of the difficulties it faced during the latter part of 2002 and early 2003 and record a much improved backlog by the end of 2003.
