Despite a number of requests from operators for Boeing [NYSE: BA] to launch a freighter version of the popular B777, the U.S. manufacturer has seemingly placed a low priority on such a development, forcing operators to use the B747-400F/SF and MD11F/SF, thereby consolidating medium-term residuals.
