Operators of newer narrowbodies have increasingly focused on larger variants at the expense of the A319 and B737-700 such that the backlogs of both smaller variants have long since lost parity with the A320 and B737-800 making it necessary to consider whether future demand will sufficiently shift as to make it necessary to adjust residual values.
