Boeing’s 737 MAX Gets the Green Light: Output Up, Confidence Back?

The FAA has given Boeing approval to raise production of the 737 MAX from 38 to 42 aircraft per month. The decision, announced on October 17, 2025, follows nearly two years of heightened scrutiny after the January 2024 Alaska Airlines incident in which a fuselage panel separated mid-flight.
