Bumper Year for Manufacturers Points to Further Value Rises

With Airbus and Boeing [BA] scurrying to turn aircraft commitments into firm orders in December, European manufacturer Airbus managed to record another lead over Boeing, thereby extending the backlog and making delivery slots even more scarce.
