Korean Air announced that it has placed one of the largest commercial aircraft orders in its history, agreeing to purchase 103 Boeing jets in a deal valued at roughly $36.2 billion. The agreement also covers $13.8 billion worth of engines and a long-term maintenance program, bringing the total transaction close to $50 billion.
