Large Scale Disposal of B737-300/-400s Unlikely to Upset Lease Rentals

The disposal of some 39 Boeing [BA] B737-400s in the short to medium term by Malaysia Airlines (MAS), to be replaced either by new Airbus A320s or B737-800s, is not expected to have a detrimental impact on lease rentals as Indonesia' Merpati is seeking a similar number of used B737-300/-400s.
