While airlines and lessors understandably focus on the Airbus A321neo and Boeing 737 MAX 8, their smaller siblings, the A319neo and 737 MAX 7, occupy a niche that remains strategically important. Neither aircraft has generated blockbuster order books, yet both continue to attract operators facing operational challenges that larger narrowbodies simply cannot solve.
