Values of Older Used Widebodies Stable But For How Long?

October 23, 2023

The values or widebodies are dependent on long haul travel and this has largely recovered to pre-Covid levels even though three years of growth has been lost. Values of older widebodies were expected to suffer as new aircraft were delivered in numbers once more but supply chain issues and pilot shortages have reduced the number of newer aircraft available to airlines. This has allowed values of older widebodies to remain stable and in some cases, actually rise from the dramatic lows seen in 2020.
