There has been an appreciable change in the current and short term values of most aircraft types since the April issue due to the continuing difficulties of the financial markets and the weaker global economy. The values were prepared in mid October 2008 and as such reflect the market conditions at that time. In the event market conditions continue to weaken beyond expectations then it may be necessary to accelerate the deterioration in values such that those projected for October 2009 may become more relevant that much sooner.
