Thai Buy Sees Heavy B747-400 Discounting

The memorandum of understanding signed between troubled United Airlines and Star Alliance partner Thai Airways for the purchase of up to seven used B47-400s for a reported average unit price of under $50 million indicates that a market does exist for the largest aircraft at a realistic price.
