The turboprop market has seen considerable stability over the last twenty years even as production has seen some volatility. There is a temptation to assume that the regional market was largely unaffected by the Covid Event but this could not be further from reality. The turboprops are heavily reliant on flying international routes albeit over shorter distances. They also rely on both business and leisure traffic, which suffered major declines. Even now many regional operators are suffering as traffic only gradually returns.
