Values of B787-8 Under Scrutiny As Backlog Diminishes

Despite the turbulent entry into service, the B787-8 has been viewed as an example offering airlines sufficient efficiency improvements over current offerings to warrant a premium, even in an era of lower fuel prices, but with a diminishing backlog there is a concern that the focus is now turning to alternative types.
