Despite the conclusion of the Iraq war, the control of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) virus, the avoidance of Chapter 11 by American Airlines, the re- emergence of US Airways from Chapter 11, the potential early emergence of United from Chapter 11, there still appears to be considerable adverse pressure on values of newer narrowbodies.
